Hatha Yoga: Moving Meditation
The physical practices of yoga are by far the most popular aspect of our tradition, and what makes asana so special is that it is an accessible method to cultivate a meditative state through mental focus—one of the key differences between asana and exercise.

Japa Yoga: Protecting Your Mind
One of the most ancient yoga practices, mantra is a theme woven throughout many of the paths in the yoga tradition.
In this session, you’ll explore different types of mantra practice, including: saguna mantras, which focus on a form of the divine; and nirguna mantras, which focus on the formless spirit. You’ll also explore practicing mantra with mala beads and in the written form.
Session 5

Jnana Yoga: To Know Your Self
Jnana Yoga is a path of reflection and challenging your own mind. In the yoga tradition, self-inquiry is the starting point of a conscious spiritual practice, but contemporary yoga doesn’t emphasize the importance of this practice.
This session will explore the ways that spirit permeates your life and very being and will include powerful self-inquiry meditations.

Bhakti Yoga: The Path of Love
Devoting yourself to a form of the divine is at the heart of the yoga tradition. This session will dive into the powerful and loving ways that bhakti yoga can be practiced without a guru or a traditional yoga lineage—whether by devoting yourself to your family, your community, or to nature itself, as a form of meditation.
You’ll explore techniques such as altar-building, prayer, and dedication, to bring bhakti yoga into your life.
Session 7
Monday December 14, 2026

Karma Yoga: Meditation in Action
Yoga practices, especially meditation, can build energy or prana. The question is how you are using the energy that you cultivate in your personal practice?
In this session, you’ll explore why Karma Yoga, service, is such an essential part of the yoga tradition. You’ll also discover the ways you can turn your actions into service by learning how to practice meditation in action and serve those around you.
Session 8
Thursday December 17, 2026
10am-12pm PT | 1pm-3pm ET
Self-Practice
The biggest challenge of meditation is building a self-practice that supports you and fulfills you, rather than feels like a chore.
In this session, Jivana will explore ways to integrate meditation into your life and build a personal practice. By integrating practices from all the paths of yoga, you can create a personal practice that offers: strength and a sanctuary from the challenges of life; energy and relaxation; and a sense of balance in the midst of a chaotic world.
